A Shared Surface
The front page works like a large, pannable billboard. Frames appear at coordinates on the board, so the page can hold many small messages, pictures, and embedded views at once.
About Talvan.fo
Talvan.fo is a public billboard: an open page where visitors can place small frames of text, images, and links for other people to find.
Adding Text
On the main page, press the + button and choose Text. Write your message, optionally use the <> menu for simple HTML tags, test it, choose an expiration time, and confirm it onto the board.
Adding Images
Choose Image from the add form. You can upload an image or provide an image URL, keep the aspect ratio if you want, test the result, and then publish it as a frame.
Adding Links
Choose Link and enter an HTTPS address. If the other site allows embedding, Talvan will show it as an iframe: a page inside a frame on the billboard.
Finding and Managing Frames
Use the # button to see coordinates and share a location on the billboard. Use the i button for the information menu, account options, frame limits, and the list of frames you have added.
Because this is a public space, posts are temporary and visible to other visitors. Add things you are comfortable sharing in public, and remember that some websites block iframe embedding for security reasons.
